Welcome to the Deuel County Community Foundation. In 2007 a group of community leaders looking ahead with a desire to provide a way for individuals to give back to their community, created the Deuel County Community Foundation.
The South Dakota Community Foundation announces a $25,000 challenge grant to provide a way for individuals to give back to their community.
The Deuel County Community Foundation has set a goal of raising $75,000.
Once the goal is met the Deuel County Community Foundation will have up to $5000 available annually for grants.

Tom Kreger, shown in the right presents Deuel County Community Foundation a homemade hunting knife. Tom is a Deuel County native that now lives in South Carolina where he has a knife making business. Tom has won several awards including the “Knife of the Year” award in South Carolina last year. When he heard about the cause of our foundation, Tom donated his prize winning knife to the foundation. The foundation wishes to thank Tom for his gift.
Clear Lake Alumnus Donates Hand Made Custom Knife
The Clear Lake Historical Society was awarded a $250 grant for the Clear Lake Museum. The grant will be used for repairs on the museum.
Foundation Awards Grants to three Deuel County Groups.
The Gary Softball and Baseball Associations was awarded a $250 for the youth programs.
The Goodwin Community Center committe was awarded a $250 grant for the Goodwin Community Center.

Twenty-six tables were festively decorated for the 2011 Deuel County Community Foundation’s Tour of Tables.
R Place catered a delicious meal and Jeff Hanson and the Backroads provided an evening of fantastic music. .
